York And FIELDS!

This past weekend the school took us on a trip to York. It was a neat little town that still had a bunch of the original buildings and cathedrals. It was busy, but me and Sara (friend from Tennessee) got an original tea shop experience. There's a little shop that is famous called Betty's. It was all very proper, and I had a very tasty caesaer salad! (I've been waiting for a good meal for a long time!) We also got to see the Viking wall which are just ruins but very neat. I have tons pictures, so you'll have to suffer through them when I return. Even though York was a good time, my favorite thing about the whole trip were the flat lands and wheat and canola fields I saw. It was so awesome to see something that resembled home for once! It made me want to jump on a plane at the moment and fly home. But alas I still have 4 more weeks before I fly home. Although only one week exactly till school is done. I'm ready to start traveling, but I'm not ready to say good-bye to my new found family and home. But I will thank God for the blessings he had bestowed upon me and look toward what he has in store of me next. well I must go, but I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Mountain Biking!

Only 2 more weeks of school! AHHHHHHHH! I'm not ready to say good-bye. Although I'm ready to be closer to moving back home. Anyways.
Last weekend was traveling weekend, we got 3 days off to go and do what we wanted. Most of the people headed out, but me and Sarah decided to stick around. At first we were a little bummed out when everyone seemed to be doing something cool, but our weekend ended up being really rewarding. It turned out that having a castle to ourselves and a couple of others worked out well. It was nice to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep. We also to a day to bike to the seashore. It took us a good 1 1/2 hours, but it was so beautiful. I was reminded out awesome our God is, and how much I love the ocean. We were really tired that night, but it was worth it. Well, I hope you are all doing well! God Bless!

Human Pyramid

Let me tell you about my night last night! One of the boys here at school decided it would be fun to break the school's record of a 15 person human pyramid. So with a 4 time try, were successful in having 21 people in a pyramid!!!!!!!! Then it came tumbling down. But it was a lot of fun, even if there were a few bruises. I have pictures, so I'll show you them all when I return home. Well that's all I have time for today. But I hope you are all doing well.

Espionage!!!!!!!!!!!

I have discovered the world of spies, or atleast sneaking about!!!! On Sunday night a bunch of us decided it would be fun to go for a late night walk, b/c the stars were so amazing and we could even see the northern lights. You would think it would be easy enough to just go for a walk right. Wrong! it was after lock-up so we were all supposed to be in our beds. So we escaped to the tower and down the fire escape, then proceeded to run across the lawn! It was so much fun! And muchly needed. Well, It's not a lot of news, yet I thought it would be fun to share my story of intrigue!!!!!!!!

What About Swing?

Ok, if you have never swung danced in your life, now is the perfect time to start! The school is now offering swing dancing classes, and I just so happened to find someone that would dance with me and we went yesterday! It was so much fun! And surprisingly easy. And for those of you that know me as a cluts I'm pleased to say that I'm actually quite graceful on the dance floor! It's a weekly thing, so I'll have to get good then come back and teach you all then we can go out dancing. Ok it's a date then! Other than that nothing exciting has happened, oh wait yes there was something, it's raining again! oh wait that's old news! I must admit I'm missing home a tad bit, and most definitely the Alberta Beef. There beef is alright, but is no where near as good as ours. Well, that's all for now, keep me in your prayers, as I'm a little short on patience sometimes (close quarters with 70 girls and no space to call your can do that to a person) Luv you all! Bye

TOO MANY BOOK REPORTS!

AHHHHHHH I never thought it would be this much like school! I'm enjoying learning, but I feel a lot of pressure too. I'm reading a book right now called Chasing Dragons. It's really good. So i'm glad I actually enjoy the books we have to read. But I have to do a paper on the Gospel of Mark, and it's due on Thursday and I haven't started yet. So enough socializing and start working. I find it hard to stay focused here b/c there is always someone to talk too! Well I'll keep you posted!

Rain, rain, go away!

Well as you can probably tell by my title, things are little soggy here. It usually starts raining in the morning and is nice by the evening. I'm getting used to it. School is going good, although I feel like my brain is going to explode with all the information rolling around in it. Yet it is such good information and I'm learning so much about God and myself. I have a lot of work to do, but I guess it's a life long process eh!
I'm told I have an accent, yet I don't know what they are talking about!!!!!!!
Last night I had the privilage to be in the worship band, and it was so good. I had a good time. I played the piano. Which is fun, although I can't play and sing at the same time, b/c I'm not a good multi tastker. Any ways have to go. bye
