Hurt

Why does the chance to find love have to be so risky? Out of everything that a humanbeing desires, and I know most everyone has this desire, why does love have to be the one thing that is the most sought after, even if it isn't a romantic kind, and yet it is the most unpredictiable journey? I have come to the conclusion that people are willing to hurt over and over to find it, because once you do receive that feeling, action, and commitment from someone, it is the most amazing adventure.
However, I have a friend who recently was let go by someone they finally let love them and love in return. It was going so well. Shocked was everyone when they heard. The other had their reasons for letting loose an amazing person, and these reasons over everything are probably one the genuine reason for breaking up. There was no big falling out or any bad reasons to encourage a break-up. It was simply the opportunity for both parties to find God's calling for their lives without the distraction of a relationship. Sometimes this is used as a cop out, however, I don't think that this is the case this time. Unfortunately, my friend is hurting deeper than they had ever known hurt before. Understanding is hard to find in this time, and yet they are willing to move forward to wait on God's time, whether that means he figures it out and returns, or they figure it out and move on. I would not wish hurt upon anyone, not this heart tearing pain. Yet, out of everything I know that God is faithful, and has something planned for each. We may not understand at the time why things have to happen this way. But a few years down the road, God will give a you a picture of your life. It will all fit perfectly, and in His hands.
