Meet the Parents

You know what I find kind of entertaining? The nerves that go along with taking someone home to meet the folks. Even though you know that person is awesome, and is possibly the best thing to happen to you in a long time, you always have in the back of your mind the last person you brought home. Now don't get me wrong, you are over them completely, yet the thing that sticks with you is your family's true thoughts about them. And you do not want them to think that about the new person. Granted this person is completely different, and awesome, and you already know your parents will like him. So when it all comes down to it, I'm not really nervous at all. Now he on the other hand, is completely nervous. You just tell him that they will like him and not to worry. My family is amazing and they know me and they know my judgment, they trust me! So with all that said, I will have a great weekend!
